Copies taken by the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester from correspondence and a photograph relating to the employment of Mr W E Taylor at Crossley Motors Limited, when the site was taken over by the National Aeroplane Factory during the First World War. The collection includes a copy of a letter of recommendation written by the production office of the National Aeroplane Factory at Heaton Chapel in 1919, and a copy of a black and white photograph of a Crossley aircraft with staff, including Mr Taylor.
